1958 Structo, No. 210 Steel Pick-Up Truck in Factory Sealed Box
Here's a grade I assign very rarely; Mint in Mint Box!! Although nearly 60 years old, this pressed steel pick-up truck by Structo has not only never been opened, but the box itself has remained in perfect condition. It's only browned slightly from age. One end is factory staple sealed. The other was factory taped sealed. Inside the box is a 19¼" long, brilliant red and yellow pressed steel truck with solid black rubber tires and a complete set of mini-grocery freight. In other words empty miniature boxes of actual 1950 products. I don't know how many because I've never seen them before. I have sold this particular truck without a box about 15 years ago. I've included a photo to show what it looks like. The box, like most paper products isn't flawless. It wasn't designed to be. What is important is that there are no marks, dings, dents, scratches, scuffs, tears, or anything else that it most likely didn't have when it came out of the factory. I can't recall seeing another pressed steel truck box from the same era that can compare with it! Size: Box 17½ x 6½" x 6½". Sold: Jan. 2018
